Job Summary
At Asmodee UK, we are passionate about delivering great games and amazing stories to our customers. We are now seeking a motivated Buyer to join our Purchasing team in our brand new office and warehouse in Bordon, Hampshire.
Do you want to be part of our busy Buying team playing a crucial role in the product cycle?
Do you have good attention to detail and a high level of numeracy?
You will work in a varied role covering all aspects of buying & stock management to ensure that we have the best products at the right time at the correct price to feed the sales to our customers.
What will your role involve
• Buying stock from established and new suppliers.
• Managing Supplier relations
• Managing internal relations and information flow on product and order status from various sources to various points in the business
• Finding new products and suppliers and then on boarding them to work with the business including but not limited to contract/ terms negotiations, product specification and anything else as applicable
• Liaising with logistics and warehouse staff to ensure that purchasing activity is coordinated.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport and build trust with suppliers. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to multi-task as well as be proactive with a flexible approach to changing demands and priorities.
Ideally you will also be a team player with a positive outlook and have previous experience working with Excel and the complete Microsoft Office suite. You will have strong attention to detail with a good level of numeracy.
