Job Summary
The role of the Senior Events Specialist is to plan, implement, and measure consumer and trade events, based in the US. In collaboration with the Events teams and the Marketing team, this position plays a key role in organizing and representing Asmodee at multiple events throughout the year. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, and inspired individual who has exceptional organizational and communication skills, and great communication skills to meticulously plan and execute events that enhance the fans and family experience.
What will your role involve
- Understand the overall strategy and sales priorities of Asmodee USA Distribution and share with Events teams.
- Responsible for assigned events budget, including hardware, assets, travel, and other vendors.
- Maintain an accurate understanding of YTD spend by working closely with accounting and suppliers.
- Adapt as necessary to ensure budget is not exceeded.
- Lead pre-event and post-event meetings with team and internal contributors.
- Collaborate on creation of toolkits for smaller trade shows, in support of the Sales teams.
- Ensure our internal studios and external publishers (owners, team members, authors and other staff) receive best-in-class service when attending US shows.
- Negotiate with show vendors and continuously search for efficiencies in cost and execution.
- Create and communicate event briefs for all attendees (internal and external).
- Create event debriefs for event stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze key event data to evaluate event ROI and identify areas for improvements.
- Maintain awareness of trends in event hardware material and software support.
- Provide logistics support, including securing games, packing and shipping materials, load-in/load-out and assembly, etc.
- Ensure staff are adequately trained and prepared for each event.
- Drive the Events team towards success and ensure goals are met through effective teamwork.
- All other duties as assigned.

- On event days: ability to spend 10+ hours engaging in physical activity, including lifting and moving boxes and items (up to 50 pounds) from storage to venue; setting up registration tables, displays, signage, disassembling and packing event materials.
- Comfortable working in high-stress environments, particularly during events.
- Ability to travel for a variety of events as required.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Event Planning or related fields.
- 3-5 years of proven experience managing large-scale event planning
- Knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel, In Design.
- Experience in the hobby game market a plus.
