Job Summary
As the B2B Digital Product Executive for Sales, you will drive the strategic development and optimisation of our digital B2B customer journey platforms, with primary focus on our ecommerce ecosystem. You'll act as the bridge between sales operations requirements and technical implementation, supporting the product roadmap for B2B digital touchpoints from initial account onboarding through to customer self-service capabilities.
This role combines traditional product management disciplines with sales operations support, positioning you as a key stakeholder in technology decision-making while delivering measurable business impact for the Sales department. You'll collaborate closely with IT development teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
What does this role Involve
Key Accountabilities:
• Digital Product Strategy & Roadmap: Support the strategic direction and feature prioritisation for B2B sales technology platforms
• Technology Integration Management: Oversee system integrations between ecommerce, CRM, ERP, and other sales-critical systems
• Sales Process Optimisation: Drive technological improvements that enhance sales team productivity and efficiency reducing manual handling and customer conversion
• Project Leadership: Lead technology initiatives for H&I sales linking across multiple departments
• Customer Experience Innovation: Drive user experience improvements that increase customer satisfaction and retention between sales and digital marketing
• Change Management & Training: Facilitate technology adoption across sales teams and customer-facing staff
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Product Management:
• Support the development and maintenance of comprehensive product roadmaps for B2B digital platforms, aligning technology investments with business objectives
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for platform enhancement and differentiation
• Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with development teams
• Manage product lifecycle from conception through deployment and continuous improvement
• Sales Operations Technology Support:
• Partner with sales leadership to identify technology gaps and automation opportunities
• Design and implement digital workflows that streamline account onboarding, order processing, and customer support including account opening and closure
• Optimise B2B customer self-service capabilities including product catalogs, pricing displays, order tracking, and account management
• Support development of training materials and support documentation for internal teams and external customers
• Data Management & Analytics:
• Establish data governance standards for customer information across integrated systems
• Work with Digital Marketing to improve the analytics dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights for sales and operations teams
• Support data migration projects leading from H&I sales and ensuring accuracy across system integrations
• Project & Stakeholder Management:
• Facilitate and support cross-departmental project planning sessions and maintain project communication protocols
• Support the management of relationships with external technology vendors, including contract negotiations and SLA monitoring
• Support the presentation technology roadmaps and project updates to executive leadership and department heads
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and change management processes for system deployments for H&I sales
What are we looking for
Essential Skills:
• Product Management Experience: 7+ years in technical product management roles, preferably in B2B ecommerce or SaaS environments
• E-commerce Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of Shopify, third-party integrations, and B2B commerce functionality
• Always exhibits the correct behaviours as well as delivering the required results
• Systems Integration Knowledge: Experience with CRM systems, ERP systems, and API management
• Project Management Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technology projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data visualisation tools and performance metrics
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence without authority
• Successfully managed product roadmaps for B2B ecommerce platforms with demonstrated ROI impact
• Led system integration projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex technical requirements
Desirable Skills:
• Change Management: Experience with organisational change management and technology adoption strategies
• Industry Experience: Background in distribution, retail, or consumer goods industries
• Development Background: Understanding of web technologies, database management, and software development lifecycles
• Interest in gaming
