Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in the games industry, working as part of the Gamegenic team at asmodee. This role will be focused on planning, implementing and completing development projects for high-quality game accessories. This includes tasks such as defining the project scope, creating timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress. In addition, this job also includes responsibility for communication within the team and with external stakeholders, risk assessment, budget management and ensuring quality standards.
What does this role Involve
- Planning, control and monitoring of development projects in the field of games
- Coordinating the different teams (e.g. design, development, type, QA) and ensuring that the project runs smoothly
- Mediation between customers, creative teams, service providers and suppliers
- Implementation of internal topics and customer projects
- Ensuring the economic viability of projects
- Creation and maintenance of project plans for the CEO, schedules and resource management, among other things
- Project progress monitoring, budget control, and risk management
- Prepare reports for the CEO and provide continuous information on project progress and project milestones
- Associations of project management and monitoring, including technical management of the participating departments, always with a focus on the gamegenic spirit
- Responsibility for the establishment and anchoring of project management standards
- Support in the development of project strategies and goals
- Controlling of the course of the project with regard to costs, time and risks and derivation of appropriate measures
- Ensuring the completion of all project tasks by project completion
What are we looking for
- Degree in business administration and 1-2 years of professional experience, ideally in project management in medium-sized and large companies
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and other project tools (e.g. Asana)
- Knowledge of agile methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) is an advantage
- Confident use of project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, MS Project)
- German speaking language skills would be preferred but not essential
This role can be based anywhere in the UK as a remotely based position however, if the successful candidate is local to our Bordon, Hampshire head office then they are welcome to be based from this office. The broader Gamegenic team is primarily based in Germany and therefore a willingness to make occasional business trips to Germany and occasionally worldwide is required.
