Job Summary

Please note, this is a fixed term maternity cover contract for 12 months.

 

  • Asmodee Brand Ownership - Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and increase market share.
  • Customer Service - Embed a customer first mindset within Asmodee UK. Own the internal and commercial communication strategy across the full customer B2B and B2C lifecycle.
  • Content - Oversee the creation and management of high-performing content to deliver consistent, impactful, and measurable experiences that builds trust and drives demand.
  • Social - Oversee the development and execution of data-driven social media strategies to drive audience growth, engagement and ROI.
  • Budget - Working with the Marketing Director to manage the annual marketing budget, including allocation, forecasting, and monthly reporting.

What does this role Involve

Key Accountabilities:
•    Ensure consistent and effective execution of brand guidelines, messaging, and visual identity across B2B and B2C initiatives.
•    Create and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with business goals and market trends.
•    Ensure brand consistency by developing compelling messaging and content for various platforms.
•    Develop and deliver trading-led marketing campaigns aligned to business priorities, commercial calendars, and sales targets.
•    Ensure a customer-first mindset is embedded across all teams and communications.
•    Use customer service data, NPS, feedback, and reviews to identify pain points and inform cross company solutions.
•    Manage in-house content teams and external agency partners to deliver high-impact content, on time, on budget and on brand.
•    Partner with legal team where necessary to ensure platform and industry compliance.
•    Ensure execution of marketing strategy for selected Coiledspring titles.

 


Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead brand storytelling initiatives and ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels.
•    Develop and execute integrated marketing plans to strengthen brand positioning.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain brand consistency and innovation.
•    Support product launches and promotional campaigns with strategic brand messaging.
•    Implement brand guidelines and ensure brand integrity across all communications.
•    Oversee content creation, including website updates, blog posts, videos, and advertisements and social media campaigns.
•    Shape and execute seasonal promotional activity to drive short-term performance while supporting long-term brand value.
•    Monitor retailer sentiment and competitor service benchmarks to keep the company ahead of market expectations.
•    Provide strategic guidance to Sales on customer communications, ensuring they are aligned with brand tone and messaging.
•    Align content efforts with key campaigns, product launches, digital and events.
•    Work as part of the Marketing Leadership to develop, evaluate and evolve the marketing strategy in line with business objectives.
•    Oversee budget and coordinate monthly budget review.
•    Always exhibits the correct behaviours as well as delivering the required results.
•    Any other reasonable request from line management or leadership team.

What are we looking for

Essential Skills:
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Proficient in the use of MS Office programs, in particular Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
•    Creative.
•    Highly organised and excellent attention to detail.
•    Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing demands.
•    Ability to remain calm under pressure.
•    Strong interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment which involves working with a range of different people and departments.
•    Strong understanding of the category, key retailers, and category comms.
•    Experience in buying media (directly and via media agencies).
•    Willingness to develop missing skillsets.
•    Flexibility to travel in UK as required.
•    Significant and demonstrable experience in Marketing.
•    A team player who builds strong working relationships.
•    Evidence of strong functional leadership and priority management.
•    Previous experience working successfully at marketing manager level.
•    Evidence of desire to rapidly progress, high achievement, and happy working with multiple priorities.
•    The successful candidate will not be a ‘yes’ person but will challenge and debate to get to a stronger answer!

 


Desirable Skills:
•    BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field.
•    Full understanding of the creative process.
•    Experience in any other packages or analytics tools.
