Job Summary
The role involves resolving supplier queries, managing and updating vital master data, addressing long-standing issues, and driving process improvements across related teams.
What does this role Involve
Supplier Query Management and Resolution
- Data Maintenance & Accuracy
- Perform updates to master data (and keep tracker), including incoterms, payment terms, VAT codes and points of contact.
Process Optimisation & Documentation
- Analyse root causes for recurring issues or inefficiencies in workflows that directly impact timely supplier payments.
- Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation to standardise and streamline operations, with a focus on Finance, Purchasing and Inventory.
- Explore and propose innovative ways of working to improve team efficiency and output.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Liaise with Purchasing, Finance, Inventory and other relevant teams to foster a cohesive approach to problem-solving and ensure alignment on updates.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand pain points and build capability improvements.
Reporting & Monitoring
- Monitor the status of issue resolution and data accuracy initiatives, providing monthly updates to stakeholders.
- Develop measurable KPIs for process improvements and ensure they align with broader team goals

- ERP knowledge is a bonus (SAP B1).
- While having a background in finance processes is an advantage, it is not essential, as these can be taught on the job.
