Job Summary

The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for developing and implementing growth plans for assigned clients as well as acquiring new clients. The role also involves negotiating a variety of agreements, including pricing and discount structures, promotions, and sales strategies, and selecting games for various accounts. The position reports to the Mass Market and Amazon sales Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

DEVELOPING COMMERCIAL STRATEGIES
•    Develop and implement a sales strategy for each assigned account.
•    Negotiate commercial agreements with clients to meet corporate objectives.
•    Forecast, analyze sales, and develop growth programs for clients.
•    Increase partnership levels with mass market accounts by establishing strong business relationships with clients, executing effective sales and promotions, and ensuring optimal client management.
•    Support the development and execution of promotional programs for major accounts.
•    Utilize various data sources (internal sales reports, market trends) to gain an in-depth understanding of the market and advise each client on growth strategies.

 

MANAGING OPERATIONS AND CLIENT RELATIONS
•    Prepare presentations, business reviews, and sales reports that identify areas for improvement and business opportunities.
•    Monitor monthly sales results and be responsible for achieving sales and margin objectives for the client portfolio.
•    Ensure orders meet budget forecasts and monitor inventory arrivals to propose alternatives as needed.
•    Identify market opportunities with current and potential clients.
•    Collaborate with various departments to ensure adequate client service.
•    Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Are you the candidate for us?

  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce, or a related field.
  • 3 years of previous experience in inside sales.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts related to sales (profit margins, profitability, budget forecasting, EBITDA, etc.).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills).
  • Familiarity with national big-box retailers (Walmart, Indigo, Toys "R" Us, London Drugs, Loblaws, Canadian Tire, Mastermind, etc.).
  • Fully bilingual in English and French required (regular communication with colleagues in Quebec and Ontario, other international business units, English-speaking studios, Canadian market).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Creative and detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for board games is a plus!
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales team objectives.
