Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, organised and hands-on Warehouse Inbound Supervisor to lead the efficient and accurate flow of all inventory entering our distribution centre.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will take ownership of the inbound operation, ensuring deliveries are received, processed and made available for sale as quickly and accurately as possible. You will lead a small team, drive operational performance, maintain inventory integrity, and continuously seek improvements in processes and efficiency.

What does this role Involve
Team Leadership & Operational Managemen
- Lead, motivate and delegate tasks to the inbound team to ensure daily workload priorities are achieved.
- Lead by example through a strong hands-on approach and commitment to operational excellence.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and ensure adherence to warehouse procedures and safety standards.
- Support a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Inbound Receiving & Inventory Accuracy
- Manage the receiving and processing of all inbound deliveries from suppliers and freight providers.
- Ensure all inbound freight is accurately checked against purchase orders, supplier documentation and delivery manifests.
- Verify freight dimensions, weight and cube measurements using designated warehouse technology where required.
- Accurately receipt inventory into warehouse management and inventory systems.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damaged stock, shortages and receiving issues.
- Ensure all received stock is correctly labelled, stored and put away in designated locations.
Performance & Process Improvement
- Develop, monitor and improve inbound KPIs, including receiving accuracy, processing times and inventory integrity.
- Monitor inbound schedules and proactively identify delays, risks or operational issues.
- Work closely with Buying, Inventory and Warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and smooth operational flow.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity and efficiency.
Safety & Workplace Standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Ensure all inbound activities are performed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
What are we looking for
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Inbound Coordinator, Receiving Supervisor or inventory-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate and develop a warehouse team while maintaining a hands-on approach.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock receipting and warehouse processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Confidence using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory platforms and general computer applications.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A reliable, accountable and solutions-focused approach to work.
- Experience in FMCG or distribution environments will be highly regarded.
- Current Forklift Licence preferred.
