Job Summary
As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the global tax position of our subsidiaries, with primary responsibility for a dedicated region, including Canada, US, Brazil and Chile. You will ensure tax compliance, reporting, and strategic tax advisory in alignment with Local GAAP, IFRS, and international tax regulations. Additionally, you will support the Group Tax Team in optimizing tax efficiency and ensuring compliance for the Asmodee Group. This role reports directly to our Head of Tax based in France, and involves close collaboration with international offices, finance, and legal teams to maintain robust tax governance across the organization.
What will your role involve
- Manage tax compliance and reporting compliance for our subsidiaries including a review of the tax returns, tax payment calculations (for your dedicated scope of countries).
- Organize & maintain tax compliance calendars to help ensure that all local tax compliance requirements are being met (for your dedicated scope of countries)
- Maintain oversight and co-ordination of tax compliance activities outsourced to external services providers (for your dedicated scope of countries)
- Perform calculations, analysis, and booking for tax and cash tax for budget.
- Evaluate, monitor and improve the tax reporting processes.
- Prepare country-by-country reporting.
- Operate as a strategic individual contributor (no direct reports).
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with new requirements, e.g. under Pillar 2.
- Deferred tax asset analysis under IAS12 and recording the appropriate adjustments.
- Establish strong partnerships with the local business teams and act as the tax expert to support your region with any tax issues.
- Work with the other members of the Group tax team to implement strategic goals, business initiative and tax policies
- Set-up and roll out clear and concise policies related to Domestic/European/International tax and processes in cooperation with other business stakeholders
- Liaise with the tax authorities and tax consultants of our subsidiaries (for your dedicated scope of countries)
- Co-manage tax audits, controversy, and correspondence with the tax authorities in your dedicated scope
- Keeping up to date with international direct and indirect tax developments
- Assistance on Indirect Taxes
- Other duties as assigned.

- Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ideally located in the Minneapolis area within a hybrid environment, but the role can be remote for exceptional candidates.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred.
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally within a multinational corporation, public accounting firm or a combination of those
- Strong understanding of IFRS tax accounting principles and US Corporate tax laws.
- Knowledge of international tax concepts and transfer pricing is a plus.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Salary Range: $125,000-$155,000.
