Job Summary
The Organized Play Producer is responsible for managing projects related to the creation and execution of FFG Organized Play (OP) programs, taking them from concept to completion and the associated logistics. The role requires exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of organized play ecosystems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality programs.
What will your role involve
- Managing the creation of organized play materials, including tournament guides, event kits, and instructional documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the game's mechanics and philosophy.
- Review and quality-check printouts, event kits, and digital assets for organized play events to ensure high standards of accuracy and production quality.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and international partners to troubleshoot file issues and ensure proper formatting for physical and digital materials.
- Track the status of multiple Organized Play projects meticulously to ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and align with release schedules.
- Understand, track and request internally the various products needs for the Organized Play team in terms of products like booster packs and playmats.
- Manage inventory and support the associated logistic in order to make sure all our supported events and partners will receive the right products and kits.
- Effectively communicate with international partners and stakeholders regarding co-branded or co-hosted organized play projects.
- Maintain strong communication with other departments, including game design, marketing, and sales, to align organized play programs with broader studio goals.
- Work with event organizers and retailers to support successful implementation of Organized Play programs.
- Prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and quickly adapt to changing needs.
- Ensure proper budgeting, quoting, and coordination with the Production team throughout the entire project lifecycle to maintain cost-efficiency and smooth execution of all organized play events.

Position Skills & Qualifications
- Proven project management skills, with experience overseeing the creation and deployment of community or player-facing programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on technical writing for rulebooks, tournament guides, and event documentation.
- Past experience in international shipping problematics.
- Strong editorial skills, including the ability to rewrite materials for clarity and readability while preserving the original intent of game designers or program creators.
- Familiarity with organized play systems, tournament formats, and player engagement strategies.
- Basic knowledge of design principles (hierarchy, balance, layout) and typography for creating player-friendly documentation.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving production challenges in collaboration with other teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to use independent judgment and discretion with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Professional is a plus.
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management tools.
- Knowledge of the hobby game industry, particularly organized play programs, is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in inventory management.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Salary Range: $65k-75k
