Job Summary
The Organized Play (OP) Public Representative is the face of the Studio’s OP programs, dedicated to fostering relationships with the player community, retailer partners, and internal Distribution Units (DUs) globally. This role represents the Studio at conventions, tournaments, and public events, delivering compelling presentations that highlight the Studio’s vision, products, and Organized Play initiatives. With exceptional public speaking skills, professionalism, and a passion for trading card gaming, this role will act as the bridge between the Studio and its audience, championing Organized Play programs and creating excitement within the global gaming community.
What will your role involve
- Represent the Studio’s OP programs at conventions, tournaments, retailer days, and public events.
- Deliver engaging presentations about the Studio’s OP initiatives and products to players, retailers, and internal DU teams globally.
- Act as the public spokesperson for OP, hosting panels, product showcases, live demos, and retailer events.
- Frequent participation in live stream broadcasts from both the Roseville office and other locations as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with players, tournament organizers, and retailers to strengthen OP’s presence.
- Travel frequently, both within the U.S. and internationally, to represent the Studio’s OP programs at events, often on evenings and weekends.
- Assist with planning and execution of Organized Play events, including securing marketing assets, banners, and swag for tournaments.
- Provide feedback and insights from player and retailer communities to inform future OP initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing and graphical assets are ready for event use.
- Compile public-facing post-event reports of OP events which help to drive future community engagement.
- All other duties as assigned by management.

- Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with confidence addressing diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to travel frequently and work nights or weekends as required for events.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships across player, retailer, and internal communities.
- Knowledge and passion for trading card gaming and Organized Play programs preferred.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in public speaking, event management, or relationship-focused roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of trading card gaming and competitive trading card gaming events is a plus.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000.
