Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the timely and cost-effective delivery of products and to ensure the best supply chain solutions are achieved.

What will your role involve

• Coordinate both domestic and international shipments.
• Verify documents for customs brokerage and follow-up on delayed shipments.
• Ensure warehouse visibility to incoming shipments.
• Prepare claims forms for product damaged in transit.
• Liaise with customers for pickup according to incoterms.
• Invoice customers according to pickup or delivery.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of factory goods in the ERP system.
• Maintain the database of shipping documents.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of good understanding of the international forwarding business, Incoterms, and knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations preferred.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple high priority projects.
• Must be trustworthy with confidential information and materials.
• Must be able to use independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and individuals.

Education/Experience

• Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in shipping/logistics preferred.
• At least one year of experience with ocean or air importing preferred.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Salary Range: $60,000.
